The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act requires a local/regional planning effort by combining planning activities of the West Kentucky Workforce Board and the Green River Workforce Development Board to produce a Local/Regional Workforce Plan. The West Kentucky Local/Regional Planning Session will be held on Friday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom (see below).
Representatives from West Kentucky and Green River Workforce Boards, Economic Development, Chambers of Commerce, Education and Workforce Partner Agencies are joining together to discuss the regional labor market and devise a plan for regional collaboration and innovation. The Local and Regional Plan is due for public review no later than April 1, 2025. Please contact Cindy Massie at [email protected] if you are able to participate in this joint effort.
