Job Description
Gateway Academy is seeking to add an Industrial Maintenance teacher to the team. A college degree or a teacher certificate are NOT needed to apply for this position. The candidate for this position will need to have 4 years of Industrial Maintenance experience, have a heart for high school kids, and have a keen understanding of how to run a safe shop. MSSC Certification is a plus but not required at the time of hire. A teaching certificate is not required at the time of hire. The person hired will be provided with opportunities to earn certification and a teaching certificate. Expenses are paid by Gateway Academy. The purpose of this position is to prepare high school kids to become certified and locally employed. Good partnerships with local industry would be a benefit as well.
