Success Story - Ashley

Ashley desired to gain a marketable credential in Social Assistance.  She met with WIOA Career Center Staff at the Kentucky Career Center in Hopkinsville, KY.  During the meeting, Ashley was determined eligible for WIOA funding and began training at Murray State University in January 2018.  Ashley gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work August 2018 from MSU, Murray, Kentucky.  Ashley gained employment November 2018 with the Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY working as a Social Services Case Manager.  Ashley said, “She is blessed to be able to help others; as she is now able to gain a higher wage earning, provide for her family and obtain medical benefits.”
