KET Visits West Kentucky Workforce Board to Discuss Transitioning Military

On October 10, Kentucky Educational Television’s Renee Shaw (KET) interviewed members and staff of the West Kentucky Workforce Board and leadership from the Soldier for Life, Transition Assistance Program at Fort Campbell. During the interviews, workforce training issues facing Kentucky and the innovative programs/strategies to address labor force needs and boost employment opportunities for Kentucky citizens were discussed. KET focused on the services available to assist military transitioning into the civilian workforce. The town hall discussion will include a clip from KET’s local visit and will be featured during an hour long event that KET will be hosting on Wednesday, October 25. The event will be broadcast on Monday, November 13th at 8/7pmCT on KET.
